Searching for Profits

Brian from SpecialtyLiving.com [1] just reminded me of the value on reporting on your internal site-search tool on your website. Brian gets daily reports showing him all the terms his visitors typed into his site-search engine. These keywords they type in give him a sense of what product “his market” thinks he should stock but doesn’t yet, how they refer to products he does stock but he calls them something else and then he can go back and add synonyms to terms that are used often and match them with relevant products? Do you have someone who is responsible for searching for profits on your site?
