Persuasive Copywriting Techniques – Part 5

By Bryan Eisenberg
March 6th, 2007

Don’t worry, you didn’t miss parts 1 though 4. (They’ll come shorty, if you choose.) However, this video is part of a course we developed years ago and part 5 was always my favorite so I figured I would share. In this part of the course, we share with you the persuasive writing techniques of Seussing, Frosting and Writing Monet. These are the techniques that we were taught my the Wizard of Ads, Roy H. Williams at Wizard Academy.

Click here to see Persuasive Copywriting techniques; Seussing, Frosting and Writing Monet on YouTube.Tomorrow, I’ll post part 6: Franking. If you enjoy these, let us know in the comments and we’ll post the rest of the persuasive writing techniques.

  1. It’d be nice to have all parts! Very interesting!

  2. I’d like to hear what “Pollacking” would sound like on the page. Percussive like color raindrops, perhaps?

Please post the rest of these. Thanks.

  3. I agree, that was great! I look forward to seeing the other parts. Thanks!

  4. [...] Yesterday's video illustrated Seussing, Frosting and Writing Monet as writing techniques. All these techniques are meant to capture and hold your readers attention. Today, we'll cover Franking. Franking is a critical technique for understanding how to write online: [...]

  5. The above youTube video doesn’t work. It stops after 2 seconds

  6. Andy,

I just checked it out and it worked fine. Maybe YouTube just hit a snag. Please try again.

  7. Video is great, but what would really help is simply a transcript of all the copywriting techniques. All, as in everything posted so far or that will be posted as of now.

  8. John,

Thank you. All of these techniques can be found in our book Persuasive Online Copywriting. You can still find them at times on Amazon as it is out of print. If not you can get a PDF version at http://shop.futurenowinc.com/shop/prod-FND06.htm .

    Best wishes,
    Bryan

  9. The senses dancing mesmerized by magical words and shimmering images… ah, but to have such a grasp of words and hold human minds in your hands..

I would enjoy as much of this as you can spare.
