"Have you ever wondered if different web site design would earn you a few extra bucks from Google AdSense? Well, now you can try out different designs and the Google Website Optimizer™ will let you know which ones result in more clicks on ads."

Are you sure about that? I've been searching long and hard for a way to do that and have not been able to figure out how. Can you help?

The best I've been able to find is this explanation from Google about how to track clicks on links:

http://www.google.com/support/websiteoptimizer/bin/answer.py?answer=93181&topic=14314

...but I can't see how it would work with the scripts that are used for Adsense Ads.

Confused...

Finally a multivariate testing tool available to anyone. Besides being an authorized consulant, Future Now has some amazing resources for the Website Analyzer available on the GrokDotCom blog. I have written an article on using the tool to increase conversion rates. It is available at http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/2007/04/increase-conversion-rates-with-the-google-website-optimizer.html
