17 Rules For Successful E-commerce Sites

By Robert Gorell
May 10th, 2007

SEOmoz.org just published their “17 New Rules for Successful E-Commerce Websites” for your quick-study pleasure. Rand Fishkin, the post’s author and SEOmoz chief executive, explains many of the same customer-centric fixes we’ve been preaching for years over here at Future Now.

Which of these techniques have you used? Did any of them improve conversion?

  1. Its really surprising how many reputable sites break these simple unspoken rules that users ultimately create and enforce.

  2. Robert – it’s “Fishkin” rather than “Fishman” :)

  3. Fixed it.

    Great article, btw.
