Blogs and the Law of the Essential Few

Posted By Bryan Eisenberg On May 15, 2007 @ 10:02 am In Blogs | 4 Comments

Imagine an alternate universe. . .where legislation is passed, taxing you on every blog or feed you read above three (you know, this doesn’t seem so far-fetched, actually*). If you could choose only three blogs, so that you could get the breadth and depth of knowledge you need every day, which would they be?

As you know, we’re monitoring over 3,000 interactive marketing blogs [1] now–hence the Blog Buzz [2] link on our site–and want to be sure we have the ones that matter to our readers. Our algorithm will be going through some tweaking before the end of the month, and we want to make sure the essential few that our audience care about are valued more than the other 3,000+ blogs.

Which 3 blogs would make up your essential few?

[Update: Reading feeds may be illegal [3]?]
