Frankly, most of the panel (including the Mr. K himself) reminded me of the 3+ "generations" of traditional tech entrepreneurs (and VCs) I've seen on a variety of self-congratulatory panels over the last 25 years. Same stories, different faces. Markus Frind on the other hand stuck out as a true "savant" who kind of just doesn't get what all the fuss is about. And it was kind of amusing to see how the rest of the group had a hard time even relating to him. Everyone else pontificated endlessly about this and that, while Frind hardly said a word. HE's the guy whose brain I would have wanted to pick. “Watched” it– rather turned it on in the background while doing real work.
