Yahoo! produces great results - the problem comes when you click on them and the redirect server either hangs or falls over.

It's been a problem for years and not just for Yahoo! Search - Mail, homepage and most of their other products have the same problem. If I can't actually get to my search results/Yahoo! product quickly, I'm gonna stick with Google.

I can't speak for all the extra features offered by Yahoo and Google (although I do use some of them), but what I can comment on is that from my personal experience, Yahoo is far superior with returning relevant search results.

As an example, today I did a search for Virtual Assistants. Using Yahoo, the SECOND listing was exactly what I needed -- a directory of VAs. Whereas when I did the same search in Google, out of 20 results, there were only two actual VA sites listed. The rest were sites that told how to become a VA, companies that were hiring VAs, the definition of a VA, becoming certified as a VA, etc.

And this is not the first time this has happened.

Although I haven't yet replaced my 'home' link with Yahoo, I'm beginning to think that day is not far off.
