All good suggestions Brian, especially the portion about learning the fundamentals and taking action. I'm about to begin my last Award of Achievement course at UBC, read all the books/blogs, attended my first EMetrics Summit and can't say enough about the contribution the WAA has made to my growth as an analyst. The challenge really IMHO for analysts is in picking the few things you want to focus on and be great at so you can find those nuggets of gold.
