Ive just found this page (and several others on this blog) while doing some research. Interestingly all the above sites are still going strong. Nice read but I have to say I would personally have left amazon off that list

I was talking with our editor Robert and he brought up our audience's interest in global marketing and hearing from those who are not based in the U.S.

Excellent point, and I want to give a shout-out to rethinkpink.com based in the UK. They bring us marketing to women news from around the world. So be sure the add them to your must read list if you want to see what's happening in the wide world of marketing to women.

Holly,

At Ai-Dealer we were inspired by a FutureNow whitepaper on Persuasion architecture before we started building our software product.

Our #1 demographic group... women. Other top groups were the youth market, busy working professionals and litigation attorneys.

The product is a shopping cart ecommerce system for car dealers to provide to their consumers. As it represents a new way to buy a car - entirely online + without having to go in to the showroom... we naturally targeted those who our research showed disliked the current alternatives (leads and showroom visits) the most.

It is still very early for us, but overwhelmingly those using the service and buying do so because (or so they tell us) we earned their trust because we explain how the process works and the choices being made.

Love your articles (and those of brothers Eisenberg too). Hopefully you are not running a Mac. Would love any suggestions or comments... since we set out to remove a significant point of pain for many women - buying a car from a car dealer.

You'll find a demo on our website (home page) and some of the articles / press featuring women's feedback under News, but I won't push it since I'm not posting to make this a commercial... but in the blog entry you asked for requests for additional review of sites designed with women in mind.

I don't pretend that we'll win awards for design... but I'd be happy with removing the pain (some/many/most) women have when it comes to their car buying experience today.

Happy New Year!

Holly, what a fun surprise and incredible honor. Thank you so much for including Startup Princess in your list of blogs.

Question-I visited Womentum and wondered if you meant a different link because this blog only posted once in 2006 and then in 2005, not in 2007...perhaps she's got a different URL now?

Make a Wish, Make it Happen!

Holly, you outshine all of us. What a delight to be in the company of these talented women. I'm learn something from each and every one of them, every time I visit their blogs. You have certainly captured the world of marketing to women, but... of course - you are at the head of the class. Much thanks for this honor.
