That's pretty funny, isn't myspace bigger than facebook, though? I'm a big fan of myspace, i don't really get facebook, it's all a bit too much i think, the layout confuses me quite a bit also.

I joined Facebook a few months ago and have found it to be a lot of fun. I've reconnected with old school buddies and friends. I've made some business connections but I've found that most of the people on there are small entrepreneurs, like me. It's almost like corporate America has yet to discover Facebook, and unfortunately, that's who many of us entrepreneurs want to target as prospects. Wonder how long it will take big companies to realize social networking does have value.

Facebook is all about relationships. Social network content is virtual word of mouth. If Facebook is "currently the leading social network" as Brain Stelter quotes, how could getting virtual word of mouth in favor of your news channel go wrong?

I have not yet made a social profile but I guess since everyone I know seems to have one or getting one it would make sense to make the plunge and join one probably Facebook since MySpace seems like it is for kids.

I feel old. I have stayed up with technology and even have a small web business selling custom signs and banners online. I have a myspace and facebook page but I just don't get them. My daughter has to be yanked off facebook with a prybar, I usually forget it's there.

How do small companies use facebook to market real world products anyway? I just don't understand.
