I just thought I’d let you know that first “register here” and “sign up” links are incorrectly linking to register to the previous webinar on Headline & Call To Action Testing, claiming the webinar is not available.

I also had issues with gotomeeting last time. It would download the codec, then ask me to download it again once I already did it.

Audio Bible,

Testing is an iterative process, meaning you continually improve upon it, using the previous winner as the new baseline. So apply the change and then test move onto testing other areas or pages.

This may seem like a silly question.

My latest experiment had a conversion increase of only 3.5%, with a 95% chance of beating the original.

With this small of an increase, 3.5%, do I make the changes that brought the increase to the original page or do I try other changes to get the conversion increase higher before making any changes to the original page?

Or do I take every bit of conversion increase I can find, and then do another experiment someone else?

Peter,

I am not sure of the issue since it works fine on all the machines we have access to. Try to download the GoToMeeting codec (G2M3 decoder) at https://www.gotomeeting.com/codec.

Best wishes,
Bryan

It doesn't load properly. Windows Media Player says: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:")."

That's a pity I would like to have watched this one...

I really appreciate you having this up on the web, to watch. I did watch it live when you first did it but watching it the second time, I am able to pick things up I did not catch the first time. Plus you can rewind things you do not hear clearly.

By the way, I just started my first test last week…….

Looks like my new test page is out performing the original by about 20% right now. Final numbers are not in yet, I am planning on running the test for 1 month to get solid numbers.

I am doing an A/B test, I thought the division of traffic to the test page would be near 50-50, with 50% going to each page but right now, it is doing about 60-40, with the original getting about 60% of all traffic, I am not sure why? I also assume with A/B testing there is NOT a setting to tell Webpage Optimizer to give each test page 50% of the traffic, it just happens by default.
