I have recently run across some of the worst CAPTCHAs ever! I’ve had others look over my shoulder telling me that is completely impossible to solve.

I know they want to cut down on spam, but c’mon now!

I think that some captchas are not really friendly to use on a web design page. They’re hard to read for even humans.

Those who code in the Captchas many times have no clue how real people perceive letters and numbers. “I” looks like “1″ , was that a “J” or a “7″, one “m” or two “nn”s?

I’ve re-entered some Captchas 3 or 4 times, and still couldn’t get them right!

Captchas only bother me when they are extremely difficult to read.

My brother is almost blind and has trouble reading any captcha at all. He thinks they are terrible.

Hi Brendan,

The CAPTCHAs that really irk me are the ones that are required to search forums. I understand why you might use it for people who sign up for a forum, but every time to search gets me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.

Phew, it felt good to rant.
