I agree with you that 2009 was a year when Web Analytics really thrived and that has opened a new way for businesses to go truly global and target the audience outside their national zone. I am sure 2010 would be no different than 2009 in terms of Web Analytics success because now businesses will get more and more customers from Internet as time goes by and Web Analytics may become very important for businesses in some time to come.

One thing is obvious. With today’s budgets, many companies are looking into getting more value from their existing customers and current sales by marketing to very narrow niches and this basically _requires_ them to improve their analytics

Well done report! My question for your Webinar… How do the key highlights change if you segment out the consultancy/agency industry, which represents 20% of the participants? I’m wondering if the numbers reflect the industry as a whole, or have been skewed towards the high-end, where consultants and agencies get their business.
